There weren't too many movers and shakers among the top songs in the
country this week as Ke$ha remains at #1 for a fifth week with "Tik
Tok" on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is on track to surpass the 3
million mark in digital sales next week. Following at #2 for another
week is Lady Gaga with "Bad Romance" from her "Fame Monster" EP, while
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys continue at #3 with "Empire State of Mind."
Jumping up to #4 from #8 last week is Young Money with their single
"BedRock," which hits a new peak this week. Dropping down a spot to #5
is Iyaz with "Replay." David Guetta and Akon continue at #6 with "Sexy
B----."
Train move all the way up to #7 from #23 this week with "Hey, Soul
Sister," the lead single from their fifth album, "Save Me San
Francisco." The song also reached #3 on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs
chart, their highest peak on that chart. "Hey, Soul Sister" is also
their highest charting single since "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)" hit #5
in 2001.
Rihanna is up one to #8 this week with "Hard" featuring Young Jeezy.
Owl City drops down to #9 from #5 last week with "Fireflies," which
also crosses the 3 million digital sales mark this week.
Closing out the top 10 is "How Low," the latest single from Ludacris
and the first from his upcoming "Battles of the Sexes." The track
contains a sample of "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy.
